Description
The Winchester Virginia Temple was announced on 2 April 2023, by President Russell M. Nelson as the third temple in the state. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on 9 August 2025. An open house and deication date have not yet been announced. Plans call for a single-story temple of approximately 30, 000 square feet.
