I am Dr. Niels Oestervemb, and my goal is to be the best dentist in Winchester VA for you and your entire family!After graduating dental school I finished a General Practice Residency followed by a Fellowship in Advanced General Dentistry at the College of Dentistry (University of Iowa), and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. My Residency and Fellowship was focused on advanced procedures including Oral Surgery, Dental Implants, Full Mouth Rehabilitation's and IV-sedation. Following my Residency and Fellowship, i stayed on for 4 years as a full time faculty member at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the College of Dentistry. I both taught people in their residency program as well as 4th year dental students helping determine who was ready to graduate. But most importantly, while in Iowa, I also met the love of my life and wife, Dr. Amber DeWeerd.

DR. AMBER DEWEERD, DDS

I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, the only Dental School in the U.S. that offers programs in all dental specialties. Since graduation I have been working with children and adults – treating patients of all ages. Children have always had a special place in my heart, and I very much enjoy getting kids to feel great about their teeth and going to the dentist. I also enjoy working with people who have anxiety or nervousness associated with dentistry. Practicing dentistry allows me relieve people of dental pain and help them feel good about their smiles.

DR. DEVIN STITELY, DMD

I was born and raised in Williamsport, MD. After graduating from Williamsport High School in 2008, I attended Mount St. Mary’s University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry in 2012. I then received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky in 2016. I have always loved and excelled in the sciences and I thoroughly enjoyed each step of my education.After graduating dental school, I served 4 years active duty in the United States Army as a Captain in the Dental Corps. During my time in the Army, I was able to increase my skill and knowledge base in the dental field. I pride myself on my ability to gently deliver high quality conservative treatment to my patients. Although I enjoy and excel at a wide variety of procedures, I am especially fond of root canal therapy because it is very technical and I am able to help patients who have dental pain.

WE HAVE DECIDED TO INSTALL INTRAORAL CAMERAS IN ALL OF OUR 10 TREATMENT ROOMS BECAUSE WE THINK PATIENT EDUCATION, AND UNDERSTANDING, IS PARAMOUNT FOR A GOOD RELATIONSHIP. Most dental offices only have 1 or 2 cameras, which means they do not get used very often because it is inconvenient to move them from room to room. This is why we decided to have the intraoral cameras installed in all of our rooms. Patients have been very pleased with that decision!
